# FAQ — makesaas.dev

## What is makesaas

### What is makesaas.dev?

A catalog of amazing, actively maintained starter Templates, Skinny Templates, and standalone Feature Packs, paid and free. Most products ships with an AI Kit (Pro License): agent-facing docs and skills so an AI coding assistant can extend the template correctly from day one.

### Who is it for?

Non-developers who want AI to build their SaaS for them — you describe what you want, and the AI understands the full codebase and knows how to add or edit features, no technical experience needed. And developers who know what boilerplate costs and want to skip it.

## Products

### What can I build with the templates?

Anything. SaaS apps, client projects, internal tools. What you build is completely up to you. That's the point: a strong base you can take in any direction.

### Do the templates have Stripe integrated?

No. Not every template has it integrated. It's recommended to use the filter in the products page. Choose Stripe as your filter.

### What's the difference between a Template and a Skinny Template?

A Template is a feature-rich starter codebase. A Skinny Template is the same idea stripped down: fewer features, a leaner base to build on. Skinny does not mean free. Some Skinny Templates are free, some are paid.

### What's in the AI Kit?

Agent-facing docs (architecture, conventions, how-to-add-a-feature) plus agent skills, so your AI coding assistant can extend the Template correctly from day one. Included in every product, in the Pro License.

### Can I get a free demo or trial before buying?

No live demo or trial. Every product page describes exactly what's included. If anything is unclear, contact me before purchasing. Happy to answer.

## Licensing & usage

### Can I use it commercially and non-commercially?

Both, no problem. Free and paid products can be used for your own projects, commercial or not. No fees, no extra permission needed.

### Can I use it for client work?

Yes. Building products for clients with a Template is allowed.

### How many projects can I build with one license?

Unlimited personal and commercial projects per license.

### Can I white-label, resell, or redistribute it?

Absolutely not. No redistribution, resale, or public sharing of the source, free or paid.

### Can I share a license with my team?

Licenses are single-buyer. No team or agency tier at this time.

## Payment & refunds

### How does checkout work?

Checkout runs through creem.io. Payments, VAT, and receipts are handled by creem.io. After a successful purchase, creem.io emails you a link to set up your account there, and your downloads live in that account.

### Can I get a refund after purchasing?

No refunds after a paid product has been downloaded. Digital products can't be traced for copies. Once downloaded, there's no way to prove deletion. Creem logs every download, which is what makes the policy enforceable and fair. The refund policy is shown at checkout.

### What's the difference between Standard and Pro?

The Pro License includes everything in Standard plus extra features. Which extras depends on the product — like an AI kit. Each product page lists what its tiers include. Prices are set per product.

## Updates & downloads

### How do I get the latest version of a product I bought?

Download it from your creem.io account. Every product update will be listed on your creem.io account.

### How do updates work?

Every Update lands in your creem.io account as a new versioned zip with an Upgrade Guide covering what changed and how to migrate your project forward.

### What is the Discord community and how do I get in?

A small and supportive community. You can get in as a senior or as a starting developer that needs guidance getting started. You can also showcase your project and share it to everybody.
